The comic catalog
Bibliographic data in Longbox Ledger's catalog (series, issues, dates, creator credits, barcodes) comes from the Grand Comics Database™, a long-running volunteer project cataloguing comics worldwide. It is used under the Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 license. Where we show catalog data, we link back to the matching GCD page so you can see the source (and contribute corrections upstream, where they help everyone).
The catalog is community-entered and occasionally imperfect. Anything it pre-fills in your collection is fully editable; your entries are yours.
Your data
Your collection, copies, photos, values, and wishlist are private to your account, never visible to other users, and exportable in full at any time from your account page. Photos are your own uploads; the catalog contains no cover images.
Reading photos with AI
The optional photo scanner uses an AI service to read covers and slab labels. How that works, what leaves our servers, and the deletion schedule are covered in the privacy policy.
